Hi, I’m Kathleen Hanna.

Maybe you know me from Bikini Kill or Le Tigre or The Julie Ruin. Maybe you saw me at a basement show in the '90s or at a concert last summer. Maybe you found your way here through my memoir Rebel Girl or feminist TikTok. However you got here, welcome to Future Windows, where I share the stuff I care about: feminism, music, art, politics, survival, resistance, joy, hot glue, heartbreak, healing, and everything in between. I’ll be writing, interviewing people, sharing tour stories, new obsessions, recommendations, weird memories, and whatever else feels necessary that week.

What does it cost?

There’s lots of free stuff. If you want the whole thing—full posts, archive access, the occasional secret, and the ability to be part of the chat —you can subscribe for $7/month, $70/year or if you’re feeling extra-generous, $250/year. That helps keep this thing alive and I appreciate all contributions so much.
